Situational support: understand a work difficulty and explore an adjustment
When a situation raises questions, situational support connects what you describe with the personal information available. It offers possible explanations and options without claiming to know another person’s intentions.
Three distinct uses
The light pulse collects three short responses. A lived situation helps you make sense of something that happened. Preparing a situation helps you think ahead about a conversation or decision: it remains personal and never contributes to collective signals.
For employees, these uses concern a current working relationship. Past relationships remain available in your private history. For managers, support draws on your self-perception and the protected collective patterns that are actually available.
Specific questions, without a free-text account
Choose a situation family: starting work, clarity, autonomy, check-ins, change or decisions, feedback, recognition, support, development or friction. If you are unsure, fixed-choice orientation helps identify a relevant family.
Three questions clarify safety, your goal and your specific concern. Two check-in problems, such as too few meetings and too many meetings, call for different interpretations.
What a useful answer should provide
The analysis explains a possible mechanism, a tension to separate, a point of caution, several options and something observable. It uses the authorised information available; it must not invent missing information or assign intentions to the manager.
Illustrative example: too many approval steps can restrict autonomy. One concrete option is to distinguish reversible decisions you can make alone from decisions that require agreement. You still need to check whether the issue is that boundary, a particular risk or unclear responsibility. This example is not a personalised recommendation based on your profile.
When safety is at stake
If the choices indicate a potentially serious or uncertain situation, the relationship guidance stops and provides an appropriate direction. A difference in style never excuses disrespect or danger. This support does not replace a qualified professional.
What your feedback changes
Use fixed choices to indicate whether the analysis helped. This helps assess its relevance; it does not immediately change your score or the engine’s parameters. Options do not become monitored tasks. Access is free at launch for employees and managers.
